Scott Sheppard
Scott Sheppard is a musician, visual artist, & animator based in Corner Brook, Newfoundland & Labrador.
Scott’s creative practice blends sound and visuals in equal measure. His work often pairs quirky, haunted illustrations and animations with songwriting and performance, creating immersive and darkly humorous experiences.
Scott’s visual work includes animated music videos and visualizers for artists such as Kelly McMichael (Bomb), Contrived (Gemini), Horse Chops (Ten Speed), Anthony OKS (Mango Extraordinaire), and The Rangers (How Did We Get Here / But). His art style leans into a cartoonish, slightly haunted aesthetic filled with ghosts, eyeballs, skeletons, goo, and sharp bursts of humor.
As a performer, Scott splits his time between multiple projects — from the metal/hardcore energy of Life Crisis, to the synth-pop experiments of Bus People, to fronting and writing for The Rangers, a surf-rock-driven band known for its high-energy shows and original songwriting.
When he’s not performing, Scott is busy organizing all ages shows, designing visuals, or working on new recordings with his many bands and collaborators.
